Push-In / Pull-Out ENL

The ENL Push-In / Pull Out Program is provided by ENL certified teachers who deliver instruction in English using ENL strategies and methodologies. The ENL Push-In / Pull-Out teachers provide services to English Language Learners (ELL) in the Dual Language and Regular Mainstream Programs. The amount of scaffolded English instruction is determined by the Language Assessment Battery (LAB-R) and the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) proficiency levels. Students may receive 5 to 9 periods per week of ENL services as mandated by Chancellor's Regulations.
