Assume you are enrolled in the course unless otherwise notified.

REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED.

Early mail in registration is suggested as many courses have space limitations.

BY MAIL - Fill out a separate registration coupon and a separate check for each course. Follow the directions on the registration form filling in every detail. Email address and phone number are required. All necessary information including fee, course name, instructor, day, time and location can be found in the Course Descriptions link. Registration form can be printed by going to the Printable registration form link.


General Information


SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
- School Closed – March 28, 29, April 1, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 

FEE - Each course is listed with its fee. Students are required to supply their own materials whenever needed.

SENIOR CITIZENS
- The Board of Education has a discount for senior citizens 65 years and older. Courses approved for this discount are noted with the symbol "SC". If you qualify, please enter "SC" fee on the registration form.  

REFUNDS - If Continuing Education cancels a course, each student will be entitled to a full refund. Once class has begun refunds will not be given. Regretfully, refunds will not be given if there are changes in your business or personal affairs.

WHO MAY REGISTER - Adult Continuing Education courses are open to adults (21 and older) only, unless otherwise specified.


INSTRUCTORS : We retain our Adult Continuing Education instructors to teach a course in their area of expertise. The instructors are not permitted to use the classroom for personal gain, or to solicit clients or customers. Therefore, we are not responsible for any advice or consultation given beyond the classroom setting and course curriculum material.

The registrant does hereby covenant and agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Long Beach City School District from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, claims, or actions (including costs and attorney fees) for bodily injury and/or property damage, to the extent permissible by law, arising out of or in connection with the actual or proposed use of Long Beach City School District property, facilities and/or services.
