First graders at West Elementary in Long Beach celebrated Earth Day by walking the red carpet for their inaugural “Trashion” Show. The students were inspired, in a fun and creative way, to use imagination and design skills to create inventive and stylish fashion. This fabulous event showed how everyday disposable items can be upcycled and get a second life.
