LBHS Students Explore Colleges & Careers

Long Beach High School students had the opportunity to explore their postsecondary options without ever leaving campus during the school’s Colleges & Careers in the Commons event.
Students had the opportunity to meet representatives, ask questions, and explore a variety of postsecondary pathways in an informal, accessible setting. Students were encouraged to stop by to meet representatives, ask questions, learn about admissions and academic programs, and explore a variety of pathways available after graduation.
The event is part of the Long Beach School Counseling Department’s ongoing Future Ready efforts to provide students with early and continuous exposure to college, career and workforce opportunities.
The next Colleges & Careers in the Commons event will be held October 1, giving students another opportunity to connect with visiting representatives and continue exploring their options for the future.
