Message From the Superintendent

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year, and to our new and improved website! This new site is hosted by the same company that provides our Parent Square communications, and we hope that this will be another step in streamlining communications for families.

We have had a busy summer preparing; our students will see improvements to our playgrounds and facilities, and some exciting new programming as well.  Our team is so excited to welcome your students back to school and we are preparing for our best year ever in Long Beach! Long Beach schools are not quiet, reserved places where students passively learn. They are dynamic, energized hubs where every student’s voice matters. When you walk the halls of our schools, you will hear happy students chatting eagerly about their learning; you will see creativity in action, and you will see dedicated teachers joyfully facilitating learning!

We hope that this new website helps us to better share the many points of pride that happen each year as we are witness to the amazing growth of your children! Please know that I and all of “Team LB” are always happy to chat with you about any questions or concerns.
