Long Beach Elementary School students across the district recently recognized Constitution Day on Sept. 17 with a shared social studies lesson focused on the history of the United States and the significance of the nation’s 250th birthday. Through age-appropriate classroom discussions and activities, students explored the meaning and importance of the Constitution while reflecting on how the United States has grown and changed throughout its history.

The activities provided students with an engaging way to connect the study of history and civics to their own lives while celebrating an important milestone in the nation’s history.
