Studio Sound Recording Club - operates sound for Long Beach High School Band, Orchestra, Chorus and Guitar performances through the year, as well as the recording and audio editing of these performances upon request.
 
Musical Production Pit Orchestra provides a professional quality orchestra ensemble to play as part of the High School Music Department’s Broadway Musical each year.
 
Chamber Orchestra provides a select group performing experience. Pre-requisite: Audition and teacher recommendation.
Soundwaves is a vocal ensemble group focusing on jazz, pop and show tunes. Audition only
 
Jazz Ensemble provides students of the music program with a jazz education experience.
 
Jazz Ensemble II will teach students to play various styles of jazz including Swing, Be-Bop, Latin, Funk, Rock, R&B. Students will be introduced to beginning improvisational concepts.

Soundwaves Vocal Ensemble is an extracurricular vocal ensemble for talented and committed singers. Students must audition at the beginning of the year to be considered for the group. The group performs vocal jazz music and challenging a cappella arrangements.
