About Us

The Long Beach Teachers Federal Credit Union was established on May 24, 1939.  We serve the full time employees of the Long Beach School District.  It is currently run by 4 individuals.

James M. Fiola, Jr.     CEO
Jim is a teacher of Mathematics at the High School.  He currently serves as our Chief Operating Officer.  He is a lover of golf and baseball and has been with the credit union for 4 years.

Leo Padalino

Leo is our Chief Executive Officer.  He has been serving the credit union for over 35 years and is an avid Yankee fan.  Leo was a History teacher for the High School and served in the United States Air Force.

John Ayres, Treasurer
John is our treasurer and has been with the credit union for 40 years.  John taught Business in Valley Stream and served as a guidance counselor in the High School.  He is an army veteran and an active volunteer at the American Air Power Museum.

Jay Spitz, CFO
Jay is a teacher of Mathematics in the High School.  He has been with the credit union for several years and is a Long Beach resident.  He spends most of his free time chasing his three adorable children.
